The Fund’s exposure in the equity markets will be capped at a maximum of 90% of the Fund’s NAV and will include investments in Foreign Markets to increase the Fund’s investment and diversification opportunities.

The Fund may also invest in Islamic collective investment schemes that have similar objectives to the Fund.

The Fund will also have a minimum of 10% of its NAV invested in both local and foreign Islamic fixed income instruments.

The Fund may invest in Islamic derivatives, such as Islamic index futures, Islamic foreign exchange forward contracts and Islamic cross currency swaps mainly for hedging purposes. The Fund may also employ Islamic derivatives for investment purposes to enhance the returns of the Fund by taking a view on the underlying asset or currency and establish a long position to gain a specific underlying exposure.
